Coming to Winter sports at Epiphany in 2023...
We had a full house at our Lessons & Carols service today. Thank you to the seniors who read passages and performed musical pieces. Thank you to the staff and faculty who participated, and thank you to all of the students, alumni, visitors, and parents who attended.
Thank you, Sr. Delima, for another outstanding concert! This morning we heard Christmas songs from the third, fourth and fifth graders.
Mrs. Rosney's students delivered Santa Grams and candy canes to students and teachers today.
Our Lower School students enjoyed performances by Epiphany's choral music group and brand new Middle School concert band this morning!
Thank you to our choral music, concert band, and visual arts students for the dazzling show Thursday night! What a treat to hear and see the sounds of the season.
Thank you to our kindergartners, first graders, and second graders for sharing their fun Christmas songs with us Thursday morning. We look forward to another holiday concert performed by the third, fourth, and fifth graders next Thursday.

The Epiphany Spirit Squad showed off their spirit and their new uniforms at the Christmas parade last weekend. Way to spread some Christmas (and Epiphany) cheer!
Mark your calendars! Here are the remaining Epiphany School Christmas performances for the season.
The Spirit Squad and choral music students did a tremendous job at the Cherry Point tree lighting ceremony Thursday night. Thank you to Nancy Coughlin and Tammi and Alec Newton for passing out Christmas ornament kits, Epiphany pens, and information about our wonderful school! And thanks to Mrs. Roussel, Mrs, Crowe, and Mrs. Rosney for their leadership. Wonderful job, everyone!

Upcoming Christmas concerts and art show on the Trent campus
Mrs. Roussel's Theatre Tech class is hard at work building props for the Middle School drama production.
What a wonderful presentation our second, third, and fifth graders experienced on Monday morning! Thanks to a generous grant from Atlantic Dance Theatre, two members of the Carolina Ballet came into our Performing Arts Center to talk about the life of a professional dancer and demonstrate the basics of ballet (warm-ups, work at the barre, costumes, exercise and healthy lifestyles, and performances). We were then treated to a beautiful performance and a question and answer session - our students ask the BEST questions. At the end of the presentation, all of the students were invited onstage to learn a short dance. Thank you to dancers Laurel Dorn and Luke Potgeiter, and manager Eleanor Zywicki. Look for more great pictures in the Friday Flyer!
Our choral music students and Spirit Squad represented Epiphany well this weekend at MumFest! They performed at the Gazebo at Union Point Park to a huge crowd. Even Freddy was there to enjoy the songs, dances, and beautiful weather.
Come see Epiphany’s Spirit Squad and choral music performances at MUMFEST! 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Gazebo at Union Point Park in Downtown New Bern.
The visual and performing arts department at Epiphany presented a beautiful show about what peace means to them in honor of International Day of Peace. We'll share some videos next week, but here's a quick look! Thanks to all who participated and all the family members and friends who came to watch this presentation.
We are SO proud of Epiphany 11th grader Zabby Memering. She excelled at set design during last year's ITS Festival and decided to take her ideas to a local stage. Zabby has dedicated a lot of time to several sets at New Bern Civic Theatre this summer. Because of her skills, creativity and hard work, Zabby was asked to design the set for NBCT's upcoming show, "Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play." She has worked so hard, and the stage looks amazing! We can't wait to see what she does next.
The Middle School and Upper School Fine Arts Department and Epiphany's Spirit Squad will be participating in this week's special Chapel service on Peace. Chapel will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, beginning at 9:10 a.m. in the PAC. The presentation will include art and performances by students in visual arts, drama, choral music, and the Spirit Squad. Please join us if your schedule allows, and enjoy the many talents of our students and their messages of peace.
